INDICTMENT AGAINST FIFTEEN PEOPLE FOR THE CASE “SUBVENCIONET II’’
Prishtinë, 22 December 2022 – The Special Prosecution Office of the Republic of Kosovo (SPRK) has filed an indictment in the Basic Court in Prishtinë - Special Department, against fifteen (15) accused in the "Subvencionet II" case.
The Special Prosecution Office announces that the indictment has been filed against the defendants as officials in the Agency for Agricultural Development and beneficiaries of subsidies in an illegal manner due to the well-founded suspicion that they have committed various criminal offenses.
The defendants L.S and B.M are suspected of the criminal offense of "Taking a bribe" from article 421 related to article 31 in complicity and article 77 criminal offenses in continuation, of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kosovo.
The defendants S.SH and B.N are suspected of the criminal offense of "Misuse of official position or authority" from article 414 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kosovo.
The defendants G.M, R.Z, A.M, D.D, D.D, R.Z, H.M, S.B, H.M, P.K, are suspected of the criminal offense of "Giving a bribe" under article 422 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kosovo.
The defendant B.B is suspected of the criminal offense "Exercise of influence" from article 424 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kosovo.
Meanwhile, the defendants G.M, R.Z, A.M, D.D, R.Z, H.M, are suspected of the criminal offense "Fraud with subsidies" from article 324 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kosovo.
