Indictment regarding the murder of Marigona Osmani
Ferizaj, June 28, 2022 - The Basic Prosecution in Ferizaj, Serious Crimes Department, informs the public that the indictment against the defendants Dardan Krivaça and Arbër Sejdiu, who have been in detention since August 2021, in connection with the murder of Marigona Osmani, has been filed.
According to the indictment of the Prosecution, on August 22, 2021, the defendants Dardan Krivaça and Arbër Sejdiu, intentionally and in co-perpetration deprive the now deceased Marigona Osmani of her life, thus committing the criminal offense “Aggravated Murder” under Article 173 paragraph 1 subparagraphs 1,3, 1,4 and 1.7 in conjunction with Article 31 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kosovo (CCRK).
Also, according to the Prosecution, for the defendant Dardan Krivaça, there is a reasonable suspicion that he committed the criminal offense "Rape" under Article 227 paragraph 4 subparagraph 4.1 in conjunction with paragraph 1 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kosovo (CCRK).
Whereas, the defendant Arbër Sejdiu, intentionally assisted the defendant Dardan Krivaça, in committing the criminal offense of rape, thus committing the criminal offense of aiding and abetting the rape under Article 227 paragraph 4 sub-paragraph 4.1 in conjunction with paragraph 1 and Article 33 of CCRK.
The Basic Prosecution in Ferizaj, on the occasion of filing the indictment, has proposed to the Court that after holding the main trial, administering the evidence and evaluating them, the above-mentioned defendants be found guilty of the criminal offenses for which they are charged and punished according to law.
