Indictment for organizing and participating in a terrorist group
Prishtinë, May 22, 2020 – The Special Prosecution of the Republic of Kosovo has filed indictment by the Basic Court in Prishtina - Special Department, against two defendants L.I and A.A, as each separately has committed the criminal offense "Organizing and participating in a terrorist group" under article 143 par. 2 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kosovo.
The Special Prosecutor's Office reports that the defendants deliberately took part in the activities of the terrorist organization, in manner that they went to Syria and joined the terrorist, militant, extremist organization "ISIS" (Islamic State of Iraq and the Sham), supported this organization and its activities.
Also, the suspect A.A, with her husband's brother, through Tirana Airport "Mother Teresa" went first to Istanbul, and then to Syria, where, each separately, using the regular monthly amount of money from the Islamic State has provided logistical services to soldiers - male family members, so that the defendant L.I, after the murder of her first husband A.U, married K.K, from Skopje, and after his murder she married with N.H from Pogradec, who has also been actively fighting, all the time changing residence depending on the change of territory of the Islamic State, until ISIS has suffered a complete defeat when they were forced to surrender to the Kurdish forces of who then with the help of the American army deported them to Kosovo on April 24, 2019.
With these actions, each of them separately, has committed the criminal offense "Organization and participation in a terrorist group" under article 143 par. 2 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kosovo.
