Training office
Under the direct supervision of the Director, the Training Office Manager is responsible for the smooth running of the office and staff work, including, but not limited to, these authorizations and responsibilities:
- Coordination, supervision and implementation of the Training Plan for prosecutors, officials of the Office for Protection and Assistance to Victims and support staff in the prosecution;
- Collaborates and coordinates activities with local and international partners to provide adequate training to prosecutors and other staff of the Prosecutorial Council;
- Prepares a written report for the KPC regarding the participation of prosecutors in training;
- The Office proposes to the KPC the coordination of trainings with the Academy of Justice according to law;
- Through the Kosovo Prosecutorial Council, proposes to the Academy of Justice the annual curriculum for trainings and seminars for prosecutors, depending on needs;
- Prepares periodic reports and reports upon request of the Council on the types of training followed by prosecutors and other staff, as well as necessary training reports;
- In cooperation with the Chief State Prosecutor and in coordination with the relevant training institutions, it is responsible for organizing trainings and other forms, such as: debates, roundtables, conferences;
- The Training Office coordinates all requests regarding the participation of prosecutors in trainings;
- The Training Office will ensure that the participation of prosecutors of all levels in trainings, seminars, conferences, roundtables or meetings organized by local and international institutions or various organizations will be realized only after approval by the Chief State Prosecutor and the Chief Prosecutor of the competent prosecution. ;
- The Training Office ensures that applications for participation in trainings, seminars, conferences, roundtables or meetings are accepted at least three working days prior to their holding;
- The Training Office will receive from each participant in the training the descriptive report up to two pages for the training followed, a report which will be published on the web portal of the prosecutorial system and
- Performs other duties according to the practices approved by the KPC, the Chief State Prosecutor and the Director of the Unit.
