The next meeting of the Supervisory Commission for Monitoring Cases of Corruption and Economic Crimes is held
Prishtinë, 15 March 2023 – As part of the regular meetings of the Supervisory Commission for Monitoring Cases of Corruption and Economic Crimes, led by the Deputy Chairman of the Prosecutorial Council of Kosovo, Veton Shabani, the next meeting was held today according to the previous agenda.
On this occasion, initially, the members of this Commission were informed about the meeting held by the Chairman of the KPC and the Acting Chief State Prosecutor with the Chief Prosecutor of the Basic Prosecution of Pristina and the prosecutors of the Unit for Corruption and Economic Crime within this prosecutor's office regarding the analysis of the activities and challenges in the fight against corruption and economic crimes during 2022 and the beginning of 2023, as well as the discussion developed for the implementation of the Action Plan in the Fight against Corruption and Economic Crimes for the year 2022-2024.
In addition, the request for the amendment and completion of the Administrative Instruction for Setting the Indicative Norm for State Prosecutors, which will be sent to the Committee for Normative Issues, has been reviewed.
The members of the Commission also discussed the avoidance of inconsistency of statistical data, reported by the Prosecution offices and Prosecution Performance Review Unit, as well as reviewed the request for the amendment and completion of a decision of the KPC, which will be sent for processing in one of the KPC meetings.
