The announcement of the vacancy for twenty-two new State prosecutors is approved
Prishtinë, 17 June 2022 – The Kosovo Prosecutorial Council (KPC), chaired by Jetish Maloku, held its 216th meeting, in which it initially approved the Report of the National Coordinator for Combating Economic Crime for the period January-March 2022.
Following the approval of the Regulation on the Recruitment, Examination, Appointment and Reappointment of State Prosecutors, the decision was made to announce a vacancy for the recruitment of twenty-two (22) new State Prosecutors and the Recruitment Commission and the Review Commission were established, appointing their respective members.
The Guidelines for the implementation of the Regulation on the transfer and promotion of State Prosecutors and the budget request for 2023 and the early estimates 2024 and 2025 were also approved.
At today's meeting were presented the announcement of the US Embassy for the selection of candidates for the Scholarship Program at the American University, "Wake Forest", in which case a prosecutor and a professional associate will attend the one-year program at this university.
Also during this meeting, KPC members approved the amendment of the KPC Decision on judicial experts engaged by the State Prosecutor, which will be implemented in accordance with the KJC Regulation on the compensation of judicial experts.
In conclusion, the Council has dealt with two disciplinary cases.
