Indictment filed due to the murder of a woman in Llausha, Skenderaj
Mitrovica, May 16, 2022 - The Basic Prosecution in Mitrovica - Department of Serious Crimes, has filed an indictment with the Basic Court in Mitrovica, against the defendant S.Q., in relation to four criminal offenses.
The Prosecution Office informs the opinion that in the case that took place on 05 January 2022, at around 13.30 in the village of Llausha of Skenderaj, the defendant S.Q., intentionally deprived of life his wife L.Q., in this way committing the criminal offense of “Aggravated Murder”, under Article 173 paragraph 1 under paragraph 1.3 of the CCRK.
Also, the defendant S.Q., according to the indictment has been charged of committing the criminal offenses “Unauthorized possession, control or possession of weapons” under Article 366 paragraph 1 of the CCRK, “Minor bodily injury” under Article 185 paragraph 3 regarding paragraph 2 and 1 point 1.4 of the CCRK, as well as “Domestic violence”, under Article 248 paragraph 1 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kosovo.
The State Prosecutor has proposed to the Basic Court in Mitrovica to find the defendant guilty of committing criminal offenses and sentence him according to law.
