The Acting Chief State Prosecutor received the Minister of Justice at the meeting
Prishtina, May 13, 2022 - The Acting Chief State Prosecutor, Besim Kelmendi, hosted the Minister of Justice, Albulena Haxhiu, in today’s meeting.
Acting Chief State Prosecutor Kelmendi and Minister Haxhiu, talked about various issues related to the field of criminal offenses, process of reforms in justice and identification of overcoming challenges in the justice system.
They also exchanged views on the continuation to strengthen the rule of law in Kosovo, with particular emphasis on the fight against corruption, organized crime, as well as addressing domestic violence and cases of war crimes.
At the end of the meeting, the parties have expressed mutual readiness to advance inter-institutional cooperation.
