The Chairman of the KPC received in a meeting the representatives of the Kosovo Forum of Women Judges and Prosecutors
Prishtinë, 28 April 2022 – The Chairman of the Kosovo Prosecutorial Council, Jetish Maloku, received in a meeting the Chairperson of the Forum of Kosovo Judges and Prosecutors, Vlora Pacolli Rexhepi and the Deputy Chairperson of this forum, Sebahate Sinani.
The purpose of the meeting was to discuss the deepening of cooperation between the KPC and the Kosovo Forum of Women Judges and Prosecutors, in order to further strengthen the presence in the justice system of judges and prosecutors, realizing the vision of promoting equality and respect for all.
In this regard, the Chairman of the KPC, Jetish Maloku, said during the meeting that the Forum of Women Judges and Prosecutors of Kosovo has a special importance for the prosecutorial system and in general for the justice system, because it directly affects the creation of a the environment in which women will have the opportunity and support needed for change through its active participation.
On the other hand, the Chairperson of this Forum, Vlora Pacolli-Rexhepi, emphasized that the Kosovo Forum of Women Judges and Prosecutors is systematically committed to a legal system, where all people will be treated with dignity and equality and that he has proven this through activities developed, which has influenced the strengthening of the justice system in Kosovo.
At the end of this meeting, the interlocutors expressed the common readiness to deepen cooperation, encouraging and permanently supporting the empowerment of judges and prosecutors and committing to raising public awareness of the contribution of judges and prosecutors in the justice system in Kosovo.
