Reaction from the Kosovo Prosecutorial Council
Prishtinë, 8 April 2022 – The Kosovo Prosecutorial Council (KPC), in recent days, is being attacked in the lowest way by political representatives, including members of the Kosovo Assembly, individuals who have gone through and are going through criminal proceedings and groups of interest, where, according to them, the Prosecutorial Council and the holders of prosecutorial functions are “group and head of the crime”.
This language exceeds all the limits of an institutional language and clearly shows the open tendencies for the destruction of the prosecutorial system.
KPC will not tolerate damage to the integrity and reputation of members of the Prosecutorial Council and holders of prosecutorial functions.
The Kosovo Prosecutorial Council, as an independent constitutional institution, made it clear to everyone, including political representatives, that it would not obey political interests and those of interest groups, regardless of their tendencies.
