Indictment against two persons due to threat and harassment against journalists
Prishtina, 3 December 2021 - The Basic Prosecution in Prishtina-General Department, has filed an indictment against the defendant R.S., due to the criminal offense “Harassment”, under Article 182 of the CCRK, has also filed an indictment against the defendant T.P., due to the criminal offense “Threat”, under Article 181 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kosovo.
According to the indictment, the defendant R.S., has committed the criminal offense of harassment against the journalist-injured party Sh.K., asking him to remove his press release from the relevant portal.
While, according to the indictment, the defendant T.P., committed the criminal offense of threatening the journalist-injured party G.G., through the social network Facebook.
The state prosecutor, following the issuance of the measure detained the defendant for a period of 48 hours and filed a request for detention on remand against the same with the competent court, as well as processed the indictments in court for further processing.
