Indictment for organizing and participating in an ongoing terrorist group
Prishtina, 3 December 2021 - The Special Prosecution of the Republic of Kosovo has filed an indictment in the Basic Court in Prishtina - Special Department, against the defendant N.L.
The Special Prosecution informs that the above-mentioned defendant intentionally and with prior preparation joined the terrorist organization "Gjabat Al-Nusra" in Syria. Meanwhile, after completing the tactical and combat exercises, equipped with weapons, he took an active part in the wars in Syria, then on 28.04.2013, through Istanbul Airport he returned to Kosovo.
Also, the defendant N.L, with his wife F.L, and two daughters, as well as with the son's son E.K, continued their way to the city of Gazientep where they were greeted by ISIS members crossing the border and illegally entered Syria, first in the city of Bablimon and then in the city of Gjerablus, where he was accompanied by his son B.L, and another person, who from the same was equipped with automatic rifles and ammunition taking an active part in the wars in Syria, then was handed over to the Syrian Democratic Forces where he stayed until 17.07.2021 and was repatriated to Kosovo.
With these actions, the defendant N.L., committed the criminal offense "Organization and participation in an ongoing terrorist group" under article 143 par. 2 in connection with article 81 of the CCRK.
