The Chief State Prosecutor and the Minister of Justice discuss reconstruction of inter-institutional cooperation
Prishtina, November 15, 2021 - Following the institutional commitment and the vital importance of the separation of powers and cooperation between justice institutions, the Chief State Prosecutor, Aleksandër Lumezi, received in a meeting in his office, the Minister of Justice, Albulena Haxhiu, where present also were the Chairman of the Kosovo Prosecutorial Council Jetish Maloku and deputy Minister of Justice, Blerim Sallahu.
The purpose of this meeting was to discuss common issues and overcome challenges with the aim of rebuilding cooperation and mutual trust for ongoing reforms aimed at improving the justice system.
In this context, the parties have stressed that the implementation of the rule of law strategy is a burden on both institutions and in this regard have agreed to be a productive partners in achieving common results.
