Indictment against a person for the criminal offense of rape
Gjakova, October 26, 2021 - The Basic Prosecution in Gjakova, Department for Serious Crimes, has filed an indictment against the defendant EK, due to the criminal offense "Rape", under Article 227, paragraph 7, in conjunction with paragraph 1 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kosovo.
The Prosecution announces that, on September 23, 2021, the defendant, according to the preliminary agreement with the juvenile, he waited with his car at the exit of Janosh village, Gjakova Municipality, where together they had gone to the defendant's house, in the village Vitomerica, Municipality of Peja.
From September 23, 2021 until September 29, 2021, in order to avoid the family and the police, they moved to different locations, where during all this time the defendant forced the minor to have sexual intercourse continuously.
After several operative actions by police officers, the place was located and the defendant was arrested.
The prosecutor of the case proposed to the competent Court that the defendant E.K. be punished according to the law for the criminal offense which he is charged with.
