For usury and money laundering two people were arrested
Prishtina, 11 October 2021 - The Special Prosecution of the Republic of Kosovo (SPRK), announces the public opinion that by order of this Prosecution, in different locations, in Prishtina and Fushë Kosovë, search operation was carried out , where two (2) persons with the initials R.J and H.D were arrested.
The operation was conducted by the Kosovo Police, respectively, the Directorate for Investigation of Economic Crimes and Corruption, where the defendant R.J, was arrested on suspicion of having committed the criminal offense "Usury" under article 331 par. 3 in connection with article 31 of the CCRK, and the criminal offense "Money laundering" from article 302 of the CCRK, in connection with article 56 par. 1 and 2 of Law no. 03 / L-96 on Prevention of Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing.
Also, by order of this prosecution, person with the initials H.D was arrested by Kosovo Police, on suspicions for having committed the criminal offense "Usury" under article 331 par. 3 in connection with article 31 of the CCRK .
Furthermore, we inform you that the two arrested persons have been taken into custody, and three thousand one hundred and thirty (3,130) euros, two (2) telephones, and forty (40) dollars have been seized as material evidence.
