Chairs Maloku and Zogaj discuss the preparation of the new phase of the ICT-CMIS project

Prishtina, 28 September 2021 - The Chairman of the Kosovo Prosecutorial Council, Jetish Maloku, received in a meeting the Chairman of the Kosovo Judicial Council, Albert Zogaj.

On this occasion, the two chairmen of the Councils talked about the preparation of the new phase of the ICT-CMIS Project for the period 2022-2024, a phase which foresees the further advancement of the Case Management Information System (CMIS) in prosecution offices and courts, as well as the electronic exchange of data with other law enforcement institutions in Kosovo.

Both interlocutors emphasized that this phase is planned to be finalized during November of this year and will start to be implemented from January 1, 2022, which will be partially funded by the Government of the Kingdom of Norway.

CMIS, so far, is being implemented in all prosecutions and basic courts and those of Appeal, and has managed to realize the electronic exchange of data in the system of civil registry, business register, then between the Kosovo Police, courts and prosecutions.
