Chief Prosecutor Ujkani and Prosecutor Syla met with the heads of the Regional Police Directorate in Mitrovica - north
Mitrovica, March 18, 2021- The Chief Prosecutor of the Basic Prosecution of Mitrovica, Mr. Ismet Ujkani and the Prosecutor Mr. Shyqyri Syla, held a working meeting with the leading structures of the Regional Police Directorate in Mitrovica-north, Director Nenad Djuric, deputy Director Besim Hoti, the commanders of the Mitrovica-north Police Stations, Zubin Potok, Zvecan and Leposavic, as well as the leaders of the investigations in these police stations.
In the meeting, they discussed issues of cooperation between the Basic Prosecution of Mitrovica and the Regional Police in Mitrovica-north, in which case they agreed that the current cooperation will continue in the future in order to fight all negative phenomena in the region which is covered by this prosecution office.
Also, during the meeting, Chief Prosecutor Ujkani requested that priority be given to cases of corruption and economic crimes, smuggling of goods, and domestic violence, not excluding other cases.
During the meeting it was agreed that the Basic Prosecution of Mitrovica and the police stations of the Mitrovica Region - north will continue the cooperation and will maintain regular contacts, because in this way the challenges in the daily work will be overcome.
