The realization of the objectives of the standing committees of the Kosovo Prosecutorial Council is discussed

Prishtina, 16 February 2021 - The Chairman of the Kosovo Prosecutorial Council, Jetish Maloku, held a meeting with the Deputy Chairman of the KPC, the newly elected chairmen of the four standing committees and the General Director of the KPC Secretariat.

Specifically, the purpose of this meeting was to discuss the drafting of work plans of the Committee on Normative Affairs, the Committee on Budget, Finance and Personnel, the Committee on Prosecution Administration and the Committee on Performance Evaluation of Prosecutors and their implementation in accordance with the work of the KPC for 2021. Also in the focus of the meeting was the discussion on the coordination and support of these committees by the administration and the methodology of their work in support of the Kosovo Prosecutorial Council.

Chairman Maloku asked the chairmen of the standing committees to have maximum commitment for the realization of the plans of the committees, but also proper coordination during the realization of works, harmonization and unification of work procedures and their organization.

Consequently, during this meeting, it was said that the efficiency of the work of the standing committees of the KPC directly affects the efficiency of many areas within the prosecutorial system.

The standing committees of the KPC assist the Council in exercising the duties and responsibilities provided by the Constitution and law, and are elected by the KPC, and their mandate is determined on the basis of law and other bylaws.
