The Committee on Normative Issues presents the activities carried out during 2020
Prishtina, 23 December 2020 - The Committee on Normative Issues, chaired by the Chairman Zejnullah Gashi has held the last meeting for 2020, on which occasion it has summarized the activities and works carried out during this year.
In this meeting it was said that despite the situation created by the COVID-19 pandemic, the Committee on Normative Issues has not stopped its activities, in order to implement the Work Plan for 2020, and in order to exercise its mandate.
According to the Chairman of the Committee on Normative Issues, the objectives for 2020 were: review of the package of bylaws of the Council, harmonization of bylaws with the provisions of laws, advancing inter-institutional cooperation and continuous improvement of the prosecutorial system administration system.
In this meeting the members of the committee ascertained that the Work Plan for 2020 has been realized, while they added that during this year the Committee has proceeded to the Council a total of 6 regulations and 2 administrative instructions where all were voted unanimously.
At the end of the meeting it was said that the Committee on Normative Affairs during the drafting of bylaws has coordinated all actions with international representatives who support the work of the Council and the Commission in particular, mentioning the US Embassy, EULEX, the EU project, UNDP and civil society.
