The interview of the candidates for Chief Prosecutor of the Appellate Prosecution and Chief Prosecutors of 6 Basic Prosecution Offices has started
Prishtina, 7 December 2020 - The process of interviewing the candidates for Chief Prosecutor of the Appellate Prosecution and for Chief Prosecutors of the Basic Prosecution Offices of Ferizaj, Gjilan, Prizren, Gjakova, Peja and Mitrovica has started.
The Panel for the Selection of the Chief Prosecutor of the Appellate Prosecution consists of 5 members of the Kosovo Prosecutorial Council (KPC), including the Chief State Prosecutor, and is chaired by the Chairman of the KPC, Bahri Hyseni.
The panel for the selection of Chief Prosecutors of the 6 Basic Prosecution Offices also consists of 5 members of the Kosovo Prosecutorial Council (KPC), including the Chief State Prosecutor, who is also chaired by the Chairman of the KPC, Bahri Hyseni.
All candidates who will be elected as Chief Prosecutors of the respective Prosecution Offices will start working in the new position from January 1, 2021.
The process of interviewing the candidates for Chief Prosecutor of the Appellate Prosecution and Chief Prosecutors of the 6 Basic Prosecution Offices is being monitored by the civil society organization “Group for Legal and Political Studies”.
