KPC, FOL, Internews Kosova and Debate Center signed a memorandum of understanding

Prishtina, 25 November 2020 - Kosovo Prosecutorial Council (KPC), Fol, Internews Kosova and Debate Center today signed a memorandum of understanding.

This memorandum was signed in order to implement the project "Justice System in Kosovo Accountable, Reliable and Transparent", which is funded by INL (Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs) and will be implemented by Fol, Internews Kosovo and Debate Center.

The purpose of this memorandum is to define the joint actions between KPC and FOL, Internews Kosova and Debate Center for the implementation of the project which aims to increase transparency and accountability in the Justice System in Kosovo.

The Memorandum has foreseen many activities to be undertaken by the signatory parties in order to realize the above mentioned project.

This memorandum is a continuation of the activities of the Kosovo Prosecutorial Council for the establishment and strengthening of communication and cooperation with civil society.

The Chairman of the KPC, Bahri Hyseni, after the signing of the memorandum said that the institution he heads appreciates the contribution of civil society in the field of rule of law and remain always ready to strengthen cooperation.
