The 189th meeting of the Kosovo Prosecutorial Council is held
Pristina, 3 November 2020 - The Kosovo Prosecutorial Council, chaired by Chairman Bahri Hyseni, held its regular meeting, the 189th in a row, under the measures of protection from the pandemic and through distance communication, in which it approved a series acts and procedural actions from the areas of its constitutional and legal responsibilities.
Today's meeting started with the oath of the newest member of the Kosovo Prosecutorial Council from the Basic Prosecution in Gjakova, Armend Zenelaj, and the list of prosecutors that will serve in the investigative panels regarding the disciplinary procedure against prosecutors was approved.
Also, the Kosovo Prosecutorial Council has decided to announce vacancies for Chief Prosecutor of the Appellate Prosecution and Chief Prosecutors of the Basic Prosecution Offices of Gjilan, Prizren, Peja, Gjakova, Mitrovica and Ferizaj.
In this context, the KPC has established evaluation panels for the appointment of the Chief Prosecutor of the Appellate Prosecution and the Chief Prosecutors of the Basic Prosecution Offices of Gjilan, Prizren, Peja, Gjakova, Mitrovica and Ferizaj, and has established review commissions.
