KPC members from the ranks of 7 basic prosecution offices are elected
Prishtina, 29 October 2020 - Under the measures of protection from pandemic and through remote communication, the Kosovo Prosecutorial Council (KPC), led by its Chairman, Bahri Hyseni, has held its 188th meeting in a row.
This meeting started with the announcement of Chairman Hyseni that 2 of the 3 members of the KPC, Arben Ismajli and Zejnullah Gashi, who had offered their resignation, had revoked them.
During this meeting, the KPC approved the Report of the Election Commission on the election of KPC members from the ranks of 7 basic prosecutions. Whereas, after the approval of the report the decision was made to elect 7 new members of the Kosovo Prosecutorial Council.
Also, the KPC has taken a decision on the promotion of 4 prosecutors in the Special Prosecution of the Republic of Kosovo, a promotion that aims to strengthen this prosecution in the implementation of its mandate.
At the end of this meeting, KPC has approved the Performance Evaluation Report of 12 prosecutors in initial training at the Academy of Justice.
