Chairman Hyseni and Minister Selimi discussed the process of functional review of the rule of law
Prishtina, 14 October 2020 - The Chairman of the Kosovo Prosecutorial Council (KPC), Bahri Hyseni, met with the Minister of Justice of the Republic of Kosovo, Selim Selimi. Also present at this meeting was the representative of the US Embassy in Kosovo, Mrs. Lana Morton Owens.
The purpose of this meeting was to discuss the recommendations arising from the process of functional review of the rule of law, in which case they discussed separately the main recommendations of this process and plans to crown this process as soon as possible with the approval of the Rule of Law Strategy.
During this meeting, it was said that it is important to have full coordination and the same line for the key recommendations arising from this process, including increasing the accountability, efficiency and transparency of the justice system.
