Elections for KPC members from the ranks of basic prosecutions are announced
Prishtina, 8 October 2020 - Under the measures of protection from pandemic and through distance communication, the Kosovo Prosecutorial Council (KPC), chaired by its Chairman, Bahri Hyseni, has held its 186th meeting in a row.
This meeting started with the review of two draft regulations. KPC members, after review, have approved the Regulation on the prosecutor’s performance assessment and the Regulation on the election of prosecutorial members of the Kosovo Prosecutorial Council.
In the same meeting, the KPC decided to announce elections for members of the Kosovo Prosecutorial Council from the ranks of the basic prosecutions of Pristina, Prizren, Peja, Ferizaj, Gjakova, Mitrovica and Gjilan. Following the decision to announce the elections, the Election Commission was established, which will be headed by Agron Beka, a member of the KPC from the ranks of law faculties.
