Chairman Hyseni met with the leaders of the EULEX Monitoring Unit
Prishtina, 5 October 2020 - The Chairman of the Kosovo Prosecutorial Council (KPC), Bahri Hyseni, hosted in a meeting the Head of the EULEX Monitoring Unit, Hubert van Eck Koster, and the Head of the Monitoring Pillar, Johanna Valenius.
The purpose of this meeting was to continue the cooperation of the Kosovo prosecutorial system and EULEX.
Chairman Hyseni informed the EULEX representatives about the activities that are being carried out by the Kosovo Prosecutorial Council, but also about those that are expected to be carried out by the end of this year.
On the other hand, the EULEX representatives informed the Chairman Hyseni about the activities that the Monitoring Pillar is developing within this institution, where they emphasized on their activities in the systematic and thematic monitoring of court hearings.
At the end of this meeting, both parties expressed the will and readiness to continue communication, coordination and cooperation in order to strengthen the prosecutorial system of Kosovo.
