The draft regulation on the evaluation of the prosecutor’s performance is proposed to the KPC for approval
Prishtina, 9 September 2020 - The working group for drafting the Regulation on the evaluation of prosecutors performance, led by the Chairman of the Committee for Normative Issues, Zejnullah Gashi, held a meeting, which was attended by members of this group, representatives of embassies (via videoconference), the General Director of the KPC Secretariat, the Director of the Prosecutors' Performance Review Unit and representatives of the Legal Office of the Prosecutorial Council.
The purpose of today's meeting was the final review of the draft Regulation on the evaluation of the prosecutor’s performance, this regulation, which is of particular importance to facilitate the work and functioning of the procedures for the evaluation of the prosecutor’s performance.
During the meeting, the participants provided comments and after their review by the members of the Working Group, those that were relevant were integrated into the draft regulation. It is worth mentioning that the draft of this regulation also includes the comments proposed by civil society organizations, which deal with the field of justice in Kosovo.
After addressing these comments, the chair of the meeting expressed gratitude to the participants who gave their contribution.
