Chairman received in a meeting the newest member of the KPC from the ranks of law faculties
Prishtina, 24 August 2020 - The Chairman of the Kosovo Prosecutorial Council, Bahri Hyseni, accompanied by members Ikramije Bojaxhiu, Radica Milic and Zejnullah Gashi, received in a meeting the youngest member of the KPC from the ranks of law faculties of the Republic of Kosovo , Agron Beka, recently elected by the Assembly of Kosovo.
Mr. Hyseni welcomed Mr. Beka, on which occasion he informed him about the composition of the Kosovo Prosecutorial Council and its auxiliary bodies, the duties and responsibilities of the KPC and its bodies, as well as the activities that will be carried out until the end of this calendar year. “We welcome your professional cooperation in future processes and challenges, in order to achieve the advancement and strengthening of capacities that will enable as much efficiency, accountability and transparency in the prosecutorial system of our country ", said the Chairman of the KPC, Bahri Hyseni.
Also, Chairman Hyseni, praised the commitment of the Assembly of Kosovo in the process of selecting a member of the KPC, emphasizing that still remain vacant two positions of other members from the ranks of civil society and the Kosovo Chamber of Advocates, which are very important for the functionality of the Kosovo Prosecutorial Council.
At the end of the meeting, the new member of KPC, Agron Beka, thanked for the hospitality, expressing his full commitment to give his professional and legal contribution within the competencies that he will exercise during the five-year mandate.
