Detention on remand requested for two persons for cultivation of narcotic plants
Gjilan, July 24, 2020 - The Basic Prosecution in Gjilan, Department for Serious Crimes, has submitted a request for detention on remand, before the competent court in Gjilan, against the suspects SH.K. and H.D., due to grounded suspicion that they have committed the criminal offense “Cultivation of hashish plant, coca bush or cannabis plant”, under Article 272 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kosovo.
There is a grounded suspicion that, on July 23, 2020, in the village of Berivojcë, municipality of Kamenica, the suspects SH.K. and H.D., due to grounded suspicion of producing narcotics and psychotropic substances, cultivated narcotic plants without authorization, so that 540 planted narcotic plants of the type “Cannabis Sativa” were found on the property of the suspect SH.K., in length of 20 - 50 cm.
In this way it is suspected that the same have committed the aforementioned criminal offense.
