Humanitarian Aid Program of the United States European Military Command gives to KPC a donation of protective equipment against Covid-19
Prishtina, 21 July 2020 - The Chairman of the Kosovo Prosecutorial Council (KPC), Bahri Hyseni, received today a donation from the Humanitarian Aid Program of the European Military Command of the United States of America, a donation that contains personal protective equipment against pandemic Covid-19.
The donation ceremony was attended by the Chief of the Office of Defense Cooperation, Major Courtney Olson, and Senior Legal Adviser in the Office of Development, Assistance, and Training of the Prosecutorial System at the US Embassy in Kosovo, Lana Morton-Owens.
The Chairman of the Prosecutorial Council, Bahri Hyseni, thanked the representative of the Humanitarian Aid Program, the Embassy, the people and the American state for the special and permanent care for the prosecutorial system of Kosovo, emphasizing that this valuable assistance will directly affect the protection and maintaining staff health following the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic. "Also, this donation is a genuine indicator of the close and ongoing cooperation of the KPC and the US Embassy in Kosovo," said Hyseni.
On the other hand, the Head of the US Office of Defense Cooperation, Major Courtney Olson, said that she feels good that they had the opportunity to provide this donation to the Kosovo Prosecutorial Council and of course there will be other opportunities of mutual cooperation.
