The Chief State Prosecutor visited the Basic Prosecution in Gjakova
Gjakova, June 24, 2020 - The Chief State Prosecutor, Aleksandër Lumezi, visited the Basic Prosecution of Gjakova, on which occasion he saw closely the new facility, in which the staff of this prosecution has already moved in.
During this visit, the Chief State Prosecutor, Lumezi, congratulated the Chief Prosecutor Ali Selimaj, prosecutors and supporting staff of the Basic Prosecution in Gjakova, for entering the new facility, emphasizing his commitment and continued commitment of the heads of the prosecutorial system to create the best possible working conditions in all prosecutions offices of the country.
In addition, the Chief State Prosecutor stated that the construction of this facility, has created better conditions for the Basic Prosecution in Gjakova to start fulfilling its duties and competencies in investigating and prosecuting perpetrators of criminal offenses and empowerment of the rule of law.
Meanwhile, the Chief Prosecutor of the Basic Prosecution in Gjakova informed the Chief State Prosecutor about the current work and the challenges of the functioning of this prosecution, thanking him for the continuous care regarding the progress of works in this prosecution.
