Detention on remand is required against a person suspected of serious bodily injury
Gjilan, June 05, 2020 - The Basic Prosecution in Gjilan, General Department, has requested from the Basic Court in Gjilan, the detention of the suspect A.A., who is suspected of having committed serious bodily injury to a minor.
According to the request, it is suspected that on June 3, 2020, in Gjilan, the suspect A.A., willfully seriously injured the minor, who is the injured party, at the age of 13, so that after the minor had gone out to play with children and after having an argument with the children of the suspect, the suspected person got revolted and went to the scene and drags and physically attacks the injured party by punching the latter in the eye, then slapped in the mouth in this way broke the injured party a tooth.
From the punches received, the minor fell down the ground, but the suspect again, while he was lying down, kicked him in the stomach and various parts of his body, until a passer-by intervened and prevented him, where because of received bodily injuries the victim.
With these acts, it is suspected that the suspected person has committed the criminal offense “Serious bodily injury”, under Article 186 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kosovo.
