Advancement of communication, topic of discussion of the Institutional Development Working Group
Pristina, 21 November 2019 - Pristina, 28 October 2019 - Finding and establishing a common framework for action to advance and strengthen internal and external communications services was the focus of the next meeting of KPC representatives with representatives of the British project “Strengthening the judicial system in Kosovo”, which was held within the Working Group on Institutional Development of the Prosecutorial System.
The meeting was attended by the Chairman of the Committee on Normative Issues, Zejnullah Gashi, Chairman of the Committee on Administration of Prosecutions, Radica Milic, General Director of the KPC Secretariat, Lavdim Krasniqi, Director of the Prosecution Performance Review Unit, Valon Jupa, UNDP Public Relations Consultant, Fadil Miftari, and the professional staff of the Council, discussed the concrete methodology of increasing public communication in line with the necessary future developments and orientations.
The working group noted the need for a clear strategic orientation of internal communication, which would then be in the service of external public communication. In this context, the ideas of a new concept have been addressed, with the aim of increasing the performance of the prosecutorial system, including the inevitable cooperation with the media and civil society.
This meeting was the second in a row, as the process will continue to align ideas and creativity in public communication that will serve to increasing transparency and interactive communication with the public.
