The KPC elects the Chief Prosecutors of the Special Prosecution and the Basic Prosecution of Pristina
Pristina, December 23, 2019 - Kosovo Prosecutorial Council today elected Blerim Isufaj to the position of Chief Prosecutor of the Special Prosecution Office of the Republic of Kosovo and Kujtim Munishi as Chief Prosecutor of the Basic Prosecution Office of Prishtina for a four-year term. These elections were preceded by reports of review committees, which recommended the rejection of four objections to the candidate selection process, reports that were approved by KPC members.
Also, the Prosecutorial Council, led by Chairman Bahri Hyseni, approved after the drawing of lots, the establishment of two investigative panels against two prosecutors at the Basic Prosecution in Peja.
Meanwhile, following this 175th meeting, the Prosecutorial Council has announced three internal competitions for the promotion of prosecutors in the Basic Prosecution Offices in Prizren, Peja and Mitrovica.
On the other hand, within the regular reporting, the report on geography of crime 2013-2018 was approved, which contains data on characteristic criminal offenses, and the report on the performance evaluation of two prosecutors was approved.
